Parameters

Parameters can also be added / removed from screens using the OziExplorerCE Settings Manager. The units for the default screens supplied with the software are mostly set to use the units configured in OziExplorerCE Configuration / Units. If you want a parameter to be displayed in a different unit, use the Screen Designer to do this.

The list below shows many of the available parameters which can be added. (see below  for full description)

System
System Time,
display the System Time
System Date, display the System Date
System Time UTC, the System Time in UTC
System Date UTC, the System Date in UTC
Battery, the battery capacity remaining in %
Total Program Memory, total device memory available for programs
Remaining Program Memory, device memory for programs that is remaining
Total Main Storage, total device main memory for storage
Free Main Storage, device main memory for storage that is free
Total Data Path Storage, total memory for data storage on the memory (main memory or flash card) for the configured Data File Path
Free Data Path Storage, free memory for data storage on the memory (main memory or flash card) for the configured Data File Path
Total OziCE Path Storage, total memory for data storage (binary and system files) on the memory (main memory or flash card) where OziExplorerCE is installed
Free OziCE Path Storage, free memory for data storage (binary and system files) on the memory (main memory or flash card) where OziExplorerCE is installed
OS Version, display the Operating System for the device

CPU Load %, displays the total CPU load of the device (not just load generated by OziExplorerCE)


GPS
GPS HDOP,
the precision of the satellites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dilution_of_precision_(GPS)
GPS Number Satellites, the number of satellites locked on to
Satellites World Display, show the satellites on a map of the world, Green
Satellites SNR Graph, resizable graph of the (Signal to Noise Ratio) of the GPS signal from the satellites. A number between 0 and 99. Where 99 is perfect and 0 means the satellite is not available. A typical good value is 40. And a GPS typically starts using a satellite when its SNR value is higher than 25.
Satellites SNR Graph (small), a small graph (as above).

GPS NMEA Output (sentences), the sentences received from the GPS displayed in a list, the most recent at the top.

GPS Status (on/off), display the status of the GPS. If "On" and red, the GPS does not have a GPS fix. Turns green when a fix is obtained.

Sunrise Time, display the time for sunrise at current position
Sunset Time, display the time for sunset at current position
Sunrise Time UTC, display the time for sunrise at current position in UTC time
Sunset Time UTC, display the time for sunset at current position in UTC time
Sunset Time Next Wp, display the time for sunset at next Waypoint position
Sunset Time Next Wp UTC, display the time for sunset at next Waypoint position in UTC time
Sunset Time at Route End, display the time for sunset at End of Route position
Sunset Time at Route End UTC, display the time for sunset at End of Route position in UTC time

Morning Twilight Start (Civil), display the morning civil twilight time (when the sun's altitude is 6º below the horizon)
Evening Twilight End (Civil), display the evening civil twilight time (when the sun's altitude is 6º below the horizon)
Morning Twilight Start (Nautical), display the morning nautical twilight time (when the sun's altitude is 12º below the horizon)
Evening Twilight End (Nautical), display the evening nautical twilight time (when the sun's altitude is 12º below the horizon)
Morning Twilight Start (Astronomical), display the morning astronomical twilight time (when the sun's altitude is 18º below the horizon)

Odometer
Odometer 1, Odometer for measuring distance travelled; state is stored when program is closed and reinstated when program is started. If On, a red dot is shown in the bottom right corner.
Start/Stop Odometer 1, button to start and stop Odometer with confirmation
Reset Odometer 1, button to reset the odometer to zero with confirmation
Reset Odometer 1 (no confirm), button to reset the odometer to zero without asking for confirmation. Sound is played when reset - "odometer_reset.wav" in the Sound Files folder.
Odometer 2, a second odometer (as above)
Start/Stop Odometer 2, a second odometer (as above)
Reset Odometer 2, a second odometer (as above)
Reset Odometer 2 (no confirm), a second odometer (as above)
Odometer 3, a third odometer (as above)
Start/Stop Odometer 3, a third odometer (as above)
Reset Odometer 3, a third odometer (as above)

Map
Map, using this parameter the currently loaded map can be displayed on any screen (Note: only one map can be loaded)
Map Name, display the map name
Map Zoom, display the current zoom setting for the map, the zoom setting is changed from the Zoom menu option or by zoom buttons which have been added to the screen
Magnetic Deviation, calculated value for Magnetic Deviation
Map Rotation Angle, the angle of map rotation in "course up" mode.

Track Area (Track Tail), the area of the polygon formed by the track points in the Track Tail in the selected units
Track Area (Track 1), the area (in the selected units) of the polygon formed by the track points in Track 1
Track Area (Track 2), as above for Track 2
Track Area (Track 3), as above for Track 3
Track Area (Track 4), as above for Track 4
Track Area (Track 5), as above for Track 5

Coordinate Display
Map Position, Lat/Lon Coordinates for the center of the map or the moving map position if tracking is ON.
Map Position UTM, as above in UTM
UTM 100m Grid, UTM 100m grid for the coordinates for the center of the map or the moving map position if tracking is ON
UTM Last 3 Digits, the last 3 digits of the UTM coordinates for the center of the map or the moving map position if tracking is ON

Use of Elevation Data
Note: Only SRTM data (SRTM30 (.dem), SRTM3 and SRTM1 (.hgt)) can be used, the files must be placed in the "Data File path".
Ground Ht. from SRTM,
ground height for the center of the map or the moving map position if tracking is ON, from the SRTM elevation data.
Ht. above Ground, height above ground determined using the altitude and the ground height from the SRTM data.
SRTM File in Use, the file in use to obtain the height data.

Navigation
Velocity Made Good (VMG), display the VMG in the selected units calculated while navigating
Cross Track Error (XTE), display the XTE in the selected units calculated while navigating
Compass, while navigating and moving, the rotating compass ring indicates the direction you are heading. The bearing pointer and waypoint marker indicates the direction to your destination relative to your current heading.

Anchor Alarm
Anchor Alarm On/Off, button to turn On/Off the anchor alarm
Anchor Alarm Distance,
display the radius distance. Moving outside this zone will trigger alarm activation
Distance to Anchor Position, display the distance to the anchor position in the selected units
Bearing to Anchor Position, display the bearing to the anchor position in the selected units
Set Anchor Position, button to set the anchor position
Quiet Anchor Alarm, button to quiet the anchor alarm
Increase Anchor Alarm Distance, button to increase the anchor alarm distance (zone) by 1, 10, or 50 units (m)
Decrease Anchor Alarm Distance, button to decrease the anchor alarm distance (zone) by 1, 10, or 50 units (m)

Moving Map
Note: These parameters are determined from the NMEA data received from the GPS and displayed in the selected units. The units for the default screens supplied with the software are mostly set to use the units configured in OziExplorerCE Configuration / Units. If you want a parameter to be displayed in a different unit, use the Screen Designer to do this.
Current Speed,
display the current speed
Max Speed, display the maximum speed
Reset Max Speed, button to reset the maximum speed
Average Speed, display the average speed
Reset Average Speed, button to reset the average speed
Acceleration, display the current acceleration
Max Acceleration, display the maximum acceleration
Reset Max Acceleration, button to reset the maximum acceleration
Min Acceleration, display the minimum acceleration
Reset Min Acceleration, button to reset the minimum acceleration
Heading, display the current heading in the selected units (true or magnetic)
Altitude, display the current altitude

Trip Accumulated Time, display the accumulated time for the trip

Nearest Waypoint List, displays the waypoints in a scrollable list in order of distance from current position. Buttons are provided to show a selected waypoint on the map and to "Go to" the waypoint. The Nearest Waypoint List shows the waypoints that you are getting closer to in green and the waypoints you are going away from in white.

Route Parameters
Route Name, display the name of the route
Total Route Distance, display the total distance of the route
Route Distance to Go, display the route distance remaining
Route ETE Current Speed, display for the route the estimated time left to your destination traveling at the current speed
Route ETA Current Speed, display the estimated arrival time for the route traveling at the current speed
Route ETA (UTC) Current Speed, display the estimated arrival time in UTC time for the route traveling at the current speed
Route ETE Average Speed, display for the route the estimated time left to your destination traveling at the average speed
Route ETA Average Speed, display the estimated arrival time for the route traveling at the average speed
Route ETA (UTC) Average Speed, display the estimated arrival time in UTC time for the route traveling at the average speed
Route ETE VMG, display the ETE calculated on the VMG (velocity made good)
Route ETA VMG, display the ETA calculated on the VMG (velocity made good)
Route ETA (UTC) VMG, display the ETA in UTC time calculated on the VMG (velocity made good)
% Route Complete, display the percentage of route complete
% Route To Go, display the percentage of route still to go

Next Waypoint, display the name of the next waypoint in the route
Distance to Next Wp, display the distance to the next waypoint in the route
Bearing to Next Wp, display the bearing to the next waypoint in the route

Wp ETE Current Speed, display the estimated time left to your next waypoint traveling at the current speed
Wp ETA Current Speed, display the estimated arrival time at the next waypoint traveling at the current speed
Wp ETA (UTC) Current Speed, display the estimated arrival time at the next waypoint in UTC time traveling at the current speed

Wp ETE Average Speed, display the estimated time left to your next waypoint traveling at the average speed
Wp ETA Average Speed, display the estimated arrival time at the next waypoint traveling at the average speed
Wp ETA (UTC) Average Speed, display the estimated arrival time at the next waypoint traveling at the average speed
